Ron Whaley opens a short video from SMA released at the tailend of a terrible era for skateboard trick aesthetics. Somehow Ron’s massively tall frame helps him reach new heights and apple general cleanliness to to his tricks. The frontside axle stall is gigantic and the 360 flip fakie nosegrind is the only time I have ever witnessed such a trick. If seems rather baffling but looks good even if Rom spins and grinds it into a six inch curb which were standard issue during this highly technical era.
