Daniel Kim – Allen Danze / MurderDC Belly of the Beast (2012)

I only know Daniel Kim from independent skate videos. Spirit Quest, Stop Fakin… Daniel Kim is a DC native and his flatground and ledge skating are testimony to his hours spent ripping Pulaski. Belly Of The Beast showcased the local talent and Daniel Kim’s part is a treat in solid skating. No flowery excess or contrived basics. Daniel keeps it live with some straight forward lines that look good.

Skating the US Capital isn’t easy. Almost everywhere downtown is an instant bust but that doesn’t stop Daniel from hitting the numerous granite ledges and slick streets to grind long nollie crooked grinds, thread steep nose manuals and slide out of long backside 5-0 to tailslides.
