Gustav Tonnesen – Adidas Reverb (2019)

The man bun don’t matter.

I try and write at least a couple of paragraphs per video part but this time words just aren’t going to suffice to explain the quality of Gustav Tonnesen’s skating. The way he orchestrates his body and board in perfect synchrony to perform technical tasks like mere natural movements is purely magical. Gustav has always been easy on the eyes since his early days with the Sour crew and in earlier Swedish videos, hiowever with Adidas behind him and his man bun, Gustav has found a seat at the table of greats alongside Javier Sarmiento and Gino Ianucci as a mute master of the board who let’s his skating do the talking. So damn good.
