Joey Brezinski – Digital Sane (2004)
Manual madness.
Before Joey Brezinski started kooking it, he had a breakthrough part in Digital’s Sane. This single part carried Joey through a fairly successful career, turning him pro, being nominated as the the first American on European brand Cliché and multiple contest winnings.
The particularity of Joey’s success came from his uncanny ability to balance himself on a single truck, hold and twist manuals any which way. He also had an obvious quirky character that blended goofiness and charm.
It must be noted that Digital was a video magazine that came out every few months and Sane was one of their most popular issues in part because of Joey’s fresh approach to technical skating.
